The following is a completely unbiased Senita Athletics review. I did not receive any free merchandise to review this brand and this post is NOT sponsored (Fit Healthy Best does not write sponsored content). All images were used with permission from Senita Athletics.
If you’re like most women I know, you probably spend some time on Pinterest or other social media platform, and maybe you’ve seen those cute pins promoting an affordable activewear line called Senita Athletics.
I know I’ve been seeing their cute sports bra with a bonus phone pocket constantly, so it piqued my interest and I wanted to look into this activewear brand a little deeper.
I analyzed hundreds of reviews, read nearly all of their product descriptions, spoke directly to users of Senita products, and watched several video reviews of their products. The below review are my unbiased findings on their products.
What is Senita Athletics?
Senita Athletics is an online athletic clothing store that aims to provide high-quality products at a fraction of the price of high-end retailers.
From their website:
Senita Athletics was launched … with the goal to provide durable, fashionable, and functional products at a fraction of the price of our competitors. We are committed to providing an affordable product without compromising quality.
Therefore, Senita Athletics seems to be an answer to the gap in the market between Target athletic clothing and Lululemon clothing.
What type of clothing is offered by Senita Athletics?
The follow products are offered by Senita:
Because Senita Athletics was founded by 2 moms, they seem to understand the needs of fitness during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
To that end, they sell several maternity products — namely several nursing sports bra, maternity tanks, maternity leggings, and capris. Workout capris and leggings with the belly band are surprisingly hard to find, so this was a pleasant surprise!
Many of the maternity legging reviewers stated that the leggings were the best maternity leggings they had ever owned. That’s promising for any expecting mama.
One thing you’ll notice right away about their products are their phone pockets.
They managed to find a way to insert a phone pocket into nearly product! It does seem a little odd at first (who needs a phone between their shoulder blades?), but I actually think it’s genius.
What is one item we are always carrying around?
Our phone, of course.
It’s nice to have a place to stash it at the gym or on a walk with the kids.
Their capris and leggings are all made with strong nylon/spandex or polyester/spandex blend. This makes them long-lasting and durable, giving you that stretch without the sheerness.
Additionally, the high, thick waistband is, of course, on trend right now and will keep you tucked in during a workout.
What makes Senita Athletics different?
Senita’s products offer a few features that aren’t seen in many other athletic clothing lines:
- Phone pocket in back of sports bras/side of capris/pants/shorts
- Running shorts with spandex undershorts
- A nursing sports bra option
- Maternity workout leggings
In addition, these features also set their clothing line apart:
- High-quality fabric at a lower price point
- Trendy cuts, fit, and fabric options
What is the price point of their clothing?
Many users and reviewers stated that this was the brand to go with if you have been interested in the higher-end athletic leggings but wanted to try a lower-end option first.
Case in point, here are the price point for most of their clothing items (prices are accurate based on the original published date of this article).
- Capris: $35 to $37
- Shorts: $22 to $26
- Sports Bras: $22 to $32
- Tanks: $20 to $26
- Tees: $21 to $26
- Outerwear: $26 to $49
Bonus tip: you’ll often see older fabrics and prints at very discounted prices, so be sure to check the website if you’re looking for great steals. I noticed a pair of shorts for $12, a pair of capris for $22, and a tee for $9!
How do these clothes fit and feel?
Their website lists many of their capris and pants as made from a Nylon/Spandex blend or Polyester/Spandex blend. Unfortunately, they do not list the exact percentages of each fabric are in the pants, which would be helpful for buyers.
Based on reviews and the fabric blend, their pants and capris are soft and stretchy. They should stand-up to squatting and bending during workouts so you won’t be putting on a peep show at the gym.
The fabric used to make their tanks and tees showcase a wide range of blends containing nylon, spandex, polyester, and cotton.
Finally, their sports bras are mainly made with a Nylon/Spandex or Polyester/Spandex blend.
Is their clothing durable?
Based on hundreds of reviews, the durability of their clothing is one of their best features.
The fabric blends of the bottoms make them long-lasting, even after tough workouts and washing/drying.
Moreover, these clothes will last even longer if they are air-dried or dried on low heat.
What are the disadvantages of this clothing line?
After all the time I spent on their website, one thing that jumped out at me was that their product feature pages were a bit cluttered. In addition, I noticed a few grammar errors and typos. Overall, though, their website experience is very user-friendly and full of helpful information.
As far as their products, a few reviews stated that several of the shorts fit oddly, especially the compression shorts. Several users stated that the bottoms rolled during squats and/or that the thigh/glute area was extremely tight, while the waistline was loose.
It would be very helpful if they listed the percentage of material in their products. It would also be nice to see a few cotton blend bottoms for Yoga, but maybe this is an item that doesn’t fit their product line.
The sports bras, while cute, leave a bit to bit desired as far as support during actual exercise. These would be great bras for walking/hiking or everyday activities. We have a comprehensive list of supportive nursing sports bras here.
Honestly, after thoroughly reviewing this company, I am very surprised at the high ratings of their products. The customers seem very happy with the quality and price point.
So, while they have room to improve in a few areas, overall, it appears that Senita Athletics
Where are their clothes sold?

They have a handy size guide on their website here.
Furthermore, we found that most users have said to size up, especially for compression items.

The owners have stated they do offer occasional coupon and discount codes. If you are looking for a code, I would recommend subscribing to their newsletter or following their social media accounts for possible discount codes.
Q: What are some brands that are similar to Senita Athletics?
Senita does not have a whole lot of competitors in the mid-range price point. That said, probably the most well-known brands in a similar price range are Fabletics and Athleta.
Of course, Lululemon offer similar products, but their price point is much higher.
Next, Old Navy activewear would be a similar option at a lower price point, but the fabric is not going to be as high of quality.
Bottom line: if you’re interested in the products Lululemon offers but either can’t afford their products or don’t want to invest in their products just yet, Senita is a really great alternative or starting point.null
Final Thoughts on Senita Athletics
Senita Athletics clothing is high-quality and a great price point.
These products are going to last but they aren’t going to be anything extra special or out of this world. If you take care of these clothes and line dry, air dry, or dry on low heat, they will last.
The sports bras are cute, but they won’t support your high impact workouts. They will be better for everyday wear.
In conclusion, these clothes are cute and trendy, so if you’re interested in looking fashionable at the gym or like wearing athleisure for your daily attire, this will be a great brand for you.
